In a career spanning almost 30 years, Arthur Kallos is an expert in financial services, with the reputation of a high performance professional displaying the utmost level of personal and commercial integrity.
Arthur has held senior leadership roles for a number of banking & wealth management institutions including St George Bank and BT Financial group, as well as several privately owned boutique financial services firms. Arthur has been recognised throughout his career with Westpac Group, which included being awarded St George’s Financial Planning Regional Manager of the year 2008, was BT Group’s Innovation Award winner in 2011 and led an AMP practice to achieve National Conference in 2013 as a top 3 firm nationwide.
Recognised as the ifa Dealer Group Executive of the Year in 2022 along with several other nominations, Arthur has extensive experience in assisting financial services organisations, small to large, implement strategy and successfully deliver wealth management solutions to their clients. He has been recognised in the media for the development and implementation of ‘New to Market’ financial advice models which have become full scale operations when working for Westpac Group, and the most recent being his own organisation, Spark Financial Group, founded in 2018, which is now a Top 30 Australian Financial Services Licensee by representative numbers.
As a leader, Arthur is an MBA graduate from the University of Adelaide where he was awarded with the Playford Capital Prize for Entrepreneurship in 2003 and has completed Executive Education courses through the Adelaide Graduate School of Management with specialisation in the areas of Strategy Development, Strategy Implementation, Financial Analysis and Risk management. He has a Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt Advanced qualification and has completed the Australian Institute of Company Directors course.
As a financial advisor, Arthur has a Diploma in Financial Planning from Deakin University, a Commerce Degree from the University of South Australia, has completed his SMSF & Margin Lending accreditations, holds a Certificate 4 in Mortgage Broking, has passed the FASEA Financial Advisor exam & Ethics and Professionalism in Financial Advice course, thus making him fully qualified in meeting today’s standards.
Today, as the Founder & Executive Managing Director of Spark Financial Group, his goal is to empower a new breed of Financial Advisors to deliver good advice and positively impact needy young Australians with financial capacity.
